Panerai Launches Radiomir 47mm 8-day Chain Watch

The new Panerai Radiomir Composite Marina Militare 8 Giorni – 47mm perfectly demonstrates two major characteristics of Panerai: advanced technological innovation and a long history. The case is made of Panerai Composite, a truly innovative material in the field of fine watchmaking. This Panerai composite material has superior properties that will stand the test of time. This material is produced by ceramicizing aluminum using an electrochemical process. It is harder than the ceramics (zirconia) commonly used to make watch cases and metals such as stainless steel and titanium, but it is lighter. ‘PaneraiComposite’ has good ductility and reliability, so it can perform complex and extremely precise processing.
Panerai Radiomir Composite Marina Militare 8 Giorni – 47mm in a single tone: matte dark brown 47mm Radiomir case and crown echoes the brown dial and vintage leather strap. The stitching of the strap echoes the details of the hands and the light brown strong luminous paint (Super-LumiNova®) on the sandwich dial, including: scales and Arabic numerals, small seconds at 9 o’clock, The words ‘Marina Militare’ and ‘Panerai’ and the words ‘8 giorni brevettato’ are directly copied from the classic models.
