Zenith Custom Watches At Only Watch Auction

When can we find an effective way to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy in children? At present, 1 in 3,500 boys have this high-risk disease. Thanks to the sponsorship of Prince Albert II, the Monaco Anti-Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Association is organizing an auction of excellence watches. All proceeds will be donated to the medical team working on the disease. The biennial auction has raised 3 million euros for 90 researchers and clinicians in five different countries. In response to the latest auction, Zenith created two unique left-hand watch models.
‘Only watch’ auctions gathered the largest watch brands, and these fiercely competing opponents in the market all for the same commendable goal: to fund research aimed at treating debilitating diseases affecting 250,000 children. The watch series specially designed for this auction will tour the world, and the healthy spirit triggered by the auction will guide watch brands to show unprecedented courage and creativity. For the 2011 Only Watch auction, Zenith makers will launch two unique left-handed bracelet models. Why use reverse design? Just like Da Vinci, one in ten people in the world are left-handed, and the ratio varies greatly between countries, and even reaches 1/4 in some regions. These two watches are designed for them.

  Zenith Commander Chronograph Rose Gold

 Zenith Pilot’s Chronograph

These two watches belong to the commander chronograph rose gold series and the pilot chronograph series. The former has a K gold case, which is suitable for working days in a professional environment; the latter is made of stainless steel and has a dynamic appearance, which is ideal for leisure time and weekend activities. Both watches are equipped with the El Primero movement & ndash; this movement is very popular with watch lovers around the world. There is a deep source for this commonly quoted name: launched by Zenith in 1969, which has simplified the world’s most accurate series of production mechanical movements. The secret lies in the rhythm of the balance wheel: it vibrates 10 times per second, while other movements vibrate up to 8 times per second. This is what sets them apart, and El Primero is firmly in the high-vibration range.
